THIS AS A XMAS PRESENT (3) FOR MY JAZZ LUVIN FRIENDS AND IT WAS THE PERFECT GIFT.
The other musicians are top notch as well. The 8.99 amazon price was a bargain for me to be able to hear this right now. It's my favorite jazz album period. It's December 23rd and I was in a panic because I have listened to this album every year for the last 13 years during Christmas and I couldn't find my CD. Like everyone else says.they play with the music enough so it's not "cheesy holiday music" but at the same time keep it recognizable, festive and true to the essence of the original songs that everyone recognizes. I'll listen to this during the summer. It's everything I love about Oscar Peterson and the piano in general.

I listen to it over and over and never get tired of it. This is my favorite Christmas album. The songs are perfectly chosen, and the arrangements are beautiful.
